Viola Angelini

Viola Angelini holds the Aletta Jacobs Chair in the Economics of Household Behaviour and is the Research Director of the Economics, Econometrics and Finance programme at FEB. In her research, she aims to understand what drives inequalities in health, finances and well-being between individuals over their lives, using large-scale data. Throughout her career, she has developed an extensive national and international network. She is an associate editor of the Journal of Population Economics and the Journal of Pension Economics and Finance and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in Munich and of the Steering Committee of the Ageing and Health Incentives Lab of the London School of Economics. She holds a joint PhD in Economics from the Universities of York and Padua.
