Dorine Manson

Dorine is responsible (in a dual board) for the Dutch Cancer Society (180 million € turnover and 200 staff), that has a legacy of 75 years of funding (research) projects to minimize the impact of cancer on patients and their loved ones. Working on better understanding cancer, doing what can be done to prevent cancer, better treatment, improving the quality of life for (former) patients, including in the final stage of life.

Previously, Dorine worked as Managing Director of the Dutch Postcode Lottery, as Chair of the Board of the Dutch Council for Refugees, Director of Economic Affairs Department of the City of Amsterdam and as Senior Manager Subsidy & Technology Consultants at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Dorine is an alumna of the University of Groningen and has a bachelor’s degree in history (Eastern Europe).

She has a deep passion for fostering connections between Public & Private organizations and NGO’s to achieve shared goals for a better society. She considers this important, in light of the worldwide challenges we face. Known for her strategic insight and collaborative leadership style, she is dedicated to advancing initiatives that reduce the impact of cancer through research, and societal engagement. Her work reflects a steadfast commitment to creating meaningful change for patients and their families while contributing to broader public awareness.
