Jeffrey van den Berg

Hi! My name is Jeffrey, I am 21 years old, and I am thrilled to be the Treasurer and Commercial Relations of the 17th EBF Conference Board. Although I was born and raised in Thailand, over the years, I have become a true green-blooded Groninger. Currently, I am doing my Bachelor’s in International Business, and I look forward to my exchange semester in Taiwan after finishing my board year.

A bit more about me personally: I love spending time with my friends, travelling, and cooking. I am a Taekwon-Do black belt, and every week, I have the honor of teaching a group of kids, which can be extremely fulfilling.

I decided to take on a board year to gain practical knowledge alongside the things I had come across in the International Business program. To me, it is very important to learn to apply the ideas and principles that are taught during your studies, and a board year is an amazing way to get a head start. In my function as Treasurer and Commercial Relations, I am responsible for managing the EBF Conference’s financial strategy and keeping us on track to successfully organize the event. Apart from that, I am also the main contact for our partner companies, both old and new. I am sure that I will learn much about myself during my tenure, and that organizing the 2025 EBF Conference will be an invaluable experience.
