Hi everyone!

My name is Thijmen, and I am proud to serve as Treasurer and Commercial Relations II of the EBF Conference Board 2025–2026.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Biology in Utrecht and, while considering my next step, took time to reflect by cycling solo from Twente to Rome, a journey of nearly 2,400 kilometers. This experience gave me valuable perspective and led me to pursue a year of professional orientation. Through my network, I joined the Quality department at Royal FrieslandCampina, where I discovered my interest in business. Since September, I have moved to Groningen to start a Pre-Master in Change Management.

To further challenge myself, I chose to take on this board year, which has already proven to be a very rewarding experience.

I am excited to help organize an inspiring EBF Conference and hope to see you there!
